Le Piantagioni del Caffe is passionate about coffee.  The selection of the beans is carried out as carefully as the selection of grapes for wine.  The origin, the plantation, the botanical variety of the bean and the land it is grown on are crucial to the character and integrity of the coffee.  Equally important to Le Piantagioni is the methods of harvesting, pulping, drying, and roasting.

 

To allow the end-consumer to choose the type of coffee they enjoy most, Le Piantagioni has packaged the beans according to a color chart.  Soft, intense, full, smooth, robust, or delicate can be easily discerned by the package.

 

Red –Intense, warm, earthy, full-bodied, and creamy.  The perfect bean for espresso.

Mustard –Harmonious, soft, warm, sweet, full-bodied, and creamy.  Balanced enough for any preparation.

Green –Fruity, sweet, intense, and slightly acidic.  Delicious with dessert.

Blue –Flowery, sweet, light, and delicate.  An afternoon or evening coffee.
