Nicola Pezzaro runs this family owned bakery in the heart of Piedmont, an area well known for the best hazelnuts in the world.  The Pezzaro family creates sumptuous regional cookies from the fresh fall harvest of almonds and hazelnuts.

Baci di Dama (Lady’s Kisses) - 12/case -

Two tender buttons of buttery hazelnut cookies held together by a thin, but rich, pure dark chocolate center.

Brutti e Bouni (Ugly & Good) – 15/case -

These are irresistible dollops of very crunchy, slightly chewy mounds of hazelnut and egg white touched by a hint of cinnamon.

Canestrelli (Little Baskets) – 14/case -

The name does not have any relation to the shape!      Two very thin crisp wafers sandwich an amazing chocolate filling.  These are the most remarkable cookies.  They are delicious alone or with a cup of cappuccino.

Crocanti (Crunchies) – 12/case -

Crocantini are made with egg whites, whole almonds, flour, and sugar.  The crispy crunchy texture with fresh sweet whole almonds is thoroughly satisfying on so many levels.  Delicious dunked in coffee!

Ossa da Mordere (Bones to Chew On) – 12/case -

Ossa da Mordere are made with egg whites, ground Piedmont hazelnuts, whole almonds, flour, and sugar.  These super-crunchy cookies, rich with hazelnut flavor, are fabulous with ice cream, but for more stressful moments crunch on them straight out of the bag!
